Elsa Hosk – Basketball

Elsa Hosk pursued her love for basketball and modeling simultaneously. She began modeling in high school, and after graduating, she joined the Swedish women’s basketball league while still doing modeling stints on the side. After two years, she pursued modeling full-time and moved to New York.

Although she bid farewell to the court, Hosk mentioned to Fashionista that the intense basketball practices helped her prepare for the physical demands of the modeling world. Hosk has worked for major brands, including Dior, Guess, and Dolce & Gabbana. She is also a former Victoria’s Secret Angel, having appeared in the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show for eight years.
