Amy Adams – Dancing and Track
Before ranking as one of the world’s highest-paid actresses, Amy Adams has had a history of how she got here. She attended Douglas County High School, and although she was not academically inclined, she was into arts and sports. She competed in tracks and gymnastics.
Adams told the Hollywood Reporter that she was supposed to pursue her track sport because she could run fast but decided she loved dancing more. As such, her career began as a dancer in dinner theater. She then had appearances in minor projects like “Drop Dead Gorgeous” until her breakthrough came in “Junebug.” She established herself as a leading lady with roles in “Enchanted” and “The Fighter.”
