In April 2022, the British singer Rita Ora was snapped on a night out in Los Angeles wearing a white crop top that exposed—as described by the Daily Mail—her “impressively toned stomach.” Behind Ora in the photo was yet another colossal superstar: the acclaimed film director Taika Waititi, her love interest since 2021.

From the United Kingdom and New Zealand, respectively, Ora and Waititi now make for one of the most exciting celebrity couples in the United States. Once an up-and-coming director, Waititi’s been a household name since he completed his breakthrough comedy film “What We Do in the Shadows.” He’s the director of 2022’s “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
