Pauline Collins and John Alderton – Together Since 1969

Pauline Collins found success from the British TV drama “Upstairs, Downstairs,” which led to her bagging a spin-off show titled “Thomas & Sarah.” In 1969, she saw herself off the market after marrying actor John Alderson, who once starred in “Upstairs, Downstairs.”

The pair share two sons and a daughter. However, Collins also has a daughter with Tony Rohr, who she had put up for adoption as the actor then left her as a 23-year-old penniless single mother. They eventually reunited, though, and she’s named Louise. In 2021, Sidmouth Herald reported that Collins must be the most famous person born in Exmouth that’s alive today.
