Cree Summer – 52, A Different World
Cree Summer Francks is a Los Angeles-based Canadian-American voice actor and vocalist. She is most recognized for her roles as Kida in the films “Atlantis: The Lost Empire,” “Tiff Crust,” and “Queen Vexus.” She also appeared on “Queen Sugar” and portrayed ‘Mo’ in “Horrible Histories,” as well as Kermit’s Mom, ‘Star,’ and ‘Pilgrim’ in “Kermit’s Swamp Years.”
Her style is admired by many, and she has no problem appearing fresh-faced. Summer is also a music artist, having provided backing songs to Jasmine Guy’s album, fronted her band, and released a solo album in 1999, “Street Faërie,” produced by Lenny Kravitz. In 2021, she took voice roles in the TV series, “Masters of the Universe: Revelation.”
