Lionel Messi was born in Rosario, Santa Fe; he grew up in a tight-knit, football-loving family. He developed a love for the sport early, and by 13, he was playing for Barcelona’s Under 14 team. Till 2021, he had spent almost his entire career with Barcelona, winning the team a record 35 trophies.
