Wayne Gretzky (Born in 1961)

Wayne Gretzky is a former professional ice hockey player. He played for 20 seasons in the National Hockey League for four teams. He is known by the nickname “The Great One.” Many sportswriters, former players, and fans have called Gretzky the greatest hockey player of all time. He is the only NHL player in history to total 200 points in one season.

Apart from winning numerous awards, he has several awards and trophies that have been created under his name. One of them, the Wayne Gretzky International Award, is presented to international individuals who have made significant contributions to hockey.
