Allen Iverson (Born in 1975)
Allen Iverson is an American former professional basketball player. In the first overall pick, Iverson was drafted to the NBA in 1996 by the Philadelphia 76ers. In 1997 he was named rookie of the year, not surprising considering his already impressive career in college basketball.
He went on to play 14 seasons in the NBA and played both the point guard and shooting guard positions. He was also an NBA all-star 11 times and won the NBA all-star Most Valuable Player award in the years 2001 and 2005. He is often regarded as one of the greatest scorers and players in the history of NBA.
