Joe Greene (Born In 1946)
Joe Greene is a former professional football player who was a defensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL from 1969 to 1981. He has received two NFL Defensive Player of the Year Awards and is also widely considered one of the greatest defensive linemen of all time.
Greene, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, is also well known for his appearance in the Cocacola Commercial, “Hey Kid, Catch,” aired during the Super Bowl in 1979. He currently works closely with the ‘Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Memorial Scholarship’ which he set up in 2018 in honor of his late wife.
