Jack Shepherd is a British actor best known for his role as David Platt in the ITV soap opera “Coronation Street.” He has won several awards for his performance, including Best Young Actor at the 2001 Inside Soap Awards, Best Bad Boy at the 2007 Inside Soap Awards, Villain of the Year at the 2008 British Soap Awards, Best Actor at the 2018 British Soap Awards, and Best Soap Actor at the 2020 TV Choice Awards.
On February 13, 2009, Lauren Shippey, his long-term girlfriend, gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Nyla Rae. In 2014, Shippey welcomed their second child, a son called Reuben, into the world.
