Stephen McGann – Dr. Patrixck Turner from Call the Midwife
Stephen McGann is an English actor best known for his role as Dr. Turner in the popular BBC drama series, “Call the Midwife.” In 1993, Stephen created, co-produced, and starred in the award-winning BBC drama “The Hanging Gale.” He also played the part of Sean Reynolds in “Emmerdale” from 1999 to 2002.
The beloved British period drama “Call the Midwife” is scheduled to make a comeback this holiday season in 2023 with a special Christmas episode, with a new series set to begin airing in 2024. Stephen and his wife, screenwriter, and creator Heidi Thomas, are happily married and have one son, Dominic. The family lives in Cambridge.
