Datsun 240Z

In 1966, a racecar named Datsun 240Z was making history and winning races in Japan. It was a model of the bygone Prince Motor Company, an automobile manufacturer that was eventually merged into the Nissan Motor Company. That’s why, today, the Datsun 240Z is internationally dubbed the Nissan S30.

Created by the inventful engineers of post-war Japan, the Datsun 240Z remains one of the most popular sports cars ever produced, and it’s hard to argue with its sheer power and influence. In the late ’60s, this beastly three-door coupĂ© featured a groundbreaking L24 2.4-liter engine with a three to a 5-speed manual transmission, depending on the model.
