The Sound Becomes Louder, and Louder

Gabby couldn’t believe her eyes as she watched the dog suddenly change its behavior. It joined the police officers and started digging enthusiastically. The clock was ticking; the evening was creeping in. Despite their best efforts, the hole they were digging quickly filled with water.

They had to find a way to drain it, and fast. Just in the nick of time, Gabby remembered a big empty water bottle in her car. She rushed to grab it and returned to help scoop out the water. It turned out, dogs have a natural instinct for digging, just like barking or sniffing.
