Mario Götze, 50 million euros, football player

The Germans love him, the Argentines a little less: Mario Götze brought home the 2014 World Cup with a goal in a game that never seemed to end. And like a bolt from the blue, Götze was soon considered the “wonder boy” who entered the world of football almost silently but with a deafening goal. Between ups and downs, he now plays at Eintracht, leaving behind PSV, the club that has accompanied him so far and which no doubt paid him very well but perhaps not well enough for Götze. We don’t know if he was right to complain or not, but we would certainly know what to do with €50m in the bank.
