Sir David Attenborough – £26 Million
Sir David Attenborough played his part as an environmentalist and climate change activist in November 2021, urging world leaders to ‘rewrite our story’ and ‘turn tragedy into triumph at the United Nations COP26 summit. His powerful speech was accompanied by a compelling film about forests natural wildlife, water, and clean air, and was narrated by the TV presenter himself.
Now in his mid-90s, safe to say, Attenborough has devoted most of his life to narrating the wonders of nature. This in itself has proved to be a lucrative venture for him–in 2017, he was named as one of BBC’s highest-paid presenters, making some £1.13million pre-tax annually.
