The figures were broken one year earlier by publications like Scotland’s The National after the BBC went public with its employees’ contract details following a controversy about the network hiding the income of its employees.

Bruce is perhaps one of the most famous faces on the BBC. Known around the world as the host of “BBC News at Six,” she has also worked for the news network on shows like “Question Time,” “Fake or Fortune?” and “Antiques Roadshow.”
