Immediate Change
When Tomas’ daughter was taken out of Mrs. Duncan’s class, the change in her behavior was instant. Tomas rejoiced as his daughter went back to being her former self: a happy, emotionally-stable, normal kid who wasn’t afraid to go to school. While Tomas suspected his daughter was being bullied by other students, he was shocked to find out it was all caused by a teacher!
Being a teacher is a very hard job, but that’s no excuse to neglect your responsibilities and, even worse, harm your students. While Mrs. Duncan got away with a reprimand from the board, she deserved to endure more serious consequences.
