Mika and Andreas Dermanis — 12 Years

Michael Holbrook Penniman Junior or Mika under his artist name was born in Beirut, Lebanon on August 18, 1983. He grew up in Paris, in the 16th arrondissement. His interest in music came through singing lessons that he had taken to combat a muteness from which he suffered at the age of 8. His career took off when he signed the single “Relax, Take It Easy” with Casablanca Records. The ensuing album, called “Life in Cartoon Motion”, is certified diamond disc. Mika is also very happy in love since he has been in a relationship with director Andreas Dermanis for a few years now.
