During their heyday on “Toddlers In Tiaras” and “Here Come Honey Boo Boo,” it was easy to mistake Alana Thomspon for the mother and June Shannon as the Child. This, of course, suited the narrative since Alana and her character were the stars of the show.

But after going through a drastic weight loss journey, June got her show called “Mama June: From Not to Hot.” This finally centered the focus on the woman who was the actual boss of the house.
