Maya Hawke gained next-level fame with her surprisingly powerful performance playing Robin in season three of “Stranger Things.” Not only did she captivate audiences, but she also popularized the word dingus. All while memorizing scripts with a learning disability. It makes sense, though, since she is the daughter of Hollywood heavyweights Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.

She also worked smartly with her studies, opting to attend Saint Ann’s School, which emphasizes the creative arts over standard learning. Her work in Stranger things led to her winning a Saturn Award. In 2021 she starred in a spinoff series called “Rebel Robin: Surviving Hawkins.”
