Ángel Di María grew up poor in Argentina and took up working with his parents in a coal yard to assist the family financially. Young Di María, at the time, was already interested in football but had no shoes to play and his parents couldn’t support his hobby because of how poor the family was.

Now one of the world’s top wingers, Di María plays for the Argentina national team and Ligue 1 French club, Paris Saint Germain. He stopped his parents from working entirely, and the family is very comfortable.
