The United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson wasn’t exactly making new friends at the House of Commons amidst the Partygate scandal. However, it all changed when Russia launched a full-on invasion of Ukraine. On March 2022, Johnson called Vladimir Putin’s act a “war crime” in a firm speech that earned him a rare, standing ovation.

Tough on Russia and the real estate market, Johnson also managed to collect a hefty $4.4 million by selling his lavish North London apartment in 2019Egg-throwers once vandalized the housers. Still, Johnson was able to get rid of it a mere $400K below the initial asking price of $4.8 million.
