In early 2017, Cheryl Cole put up her eco-friendly estate in Hertfordshire on the market for $6.5 million. The sale was prompted by the “X-Factor” judge’s desire to start a new life with her ex-partner and One Direction member Liam Payne.
The “Fight for This Love” singer had just given birth to her baby son Bear with Payne and was prepared to part ways with her ultra-modern 8,000-square-foot residence to move in with the One Direction singer instead. Cole sent her fans and the mainstream media into a frenzy in June 2021 when she returned to social media after a one-year hiatus.
