Richard Gere is an American actor who initially received a lot of attention with two of his early movies – Looking for Mr. Goodbar (1977) and Days of Heaven (1978). His portrayals of different characters in other films like Chicago, Pretty Woman, and Runaway Bride are what helped him inch closer to stardom.

Gere got married to a Spanish activist by the name of Alejandra Silva, and even though the two of them have been together for only two years now, things seem to be working out for them just fine. Prior to marrying his current wife, Gere was married to Carey Lowell and Cindy Crawford.
