After finalizing his separation from his first wife, Janet Condra, in 1976, former professional basketball player and coach Larry Bird took time before getting hitched again. Not until the early ’80s that he met and started dating celebrity volunteer Dinah Mattingly. The three-time NBA champion and an Olympic gold medalist with the U.S. men’s basketball team married Mattingly in 1989.
