What is known is that Vangsness was engaged to producer Melanie Goldstein within their seven-year relationship before actor/writer Keith Hanson came into the picture. They have now been in an engagement since 2015. According to her IMDb page, Vangsness narrated an animated short film titled Curtains in 2020.
