Julie Newmar, Marilyn Watson – Batman

While the American actress Julie Newmar is still around and has recently appeared in the 2021 documentaries “Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age” and “Ayer Nomás,” she’s best known for portraying ‘Catwoman’ in the short-lived (albeit iconic) 1966 TV series “Batman.”

During her time in the show, she counted on the support of the double Marilyn Watson, who presumably did all of her stunts in the series. These two lookalikes were practically indistinguishable, especially if they were both wearing their legendary ‘Catwoman’ suits. The photo above was extensively shared online, making the rounds in websites such as Reddit and 9Gag.
