Amanda Lepore is no stranger to the limelight as a model, singer, and performance artist. She has appeared in numerous advertising companies and posed for renowned photographers such as David LaChapelle and Terry Richardson. She has graced fashion magazines, including French Playboy and TUSH.

Lepore released her autobiography, “Doll Parts,” in 2017, where she shared more personal information about her journey and transformations. In 1985, she asked parental permission to undergo a gender reassignment, but her parents refused. However, her future father-in-law arranged to adopt her and paid a New York doctor to proceed. The said procedure reportedly cost $10K.
