Linda Evangelista – CoolSculpting Procedure, $4K

In 2021, the Canadian supermodel Linda Evangelista finally opened up about a 2016 surgery that left her “deformed,” “depressed,” and feeling like “a recluse.” She tried the CoolSculpting fat-reducing procedure but was left in shock when she realized that the result was far different from what she expected. She has since filed a $50-million lawsuit against the company responsible for selling the CoolSculpting devices.

While Evangelista’s case doesn’t make for great publicity, CoolSculpting is a relatively popular non-invasive procedure designed to remove extra fat cells from beneath the skin. Depending on the area in which it is applied, it can cost anything between $2K and $4K.
