After a long evening of preparing and hosting “The Rachel Maddow Show,” Rachel Maddow goes home to her long-time lover, Susan Mikula. The two met in Massachusetts in 1999 while Maddow was still working on her doctoral dissertation.
At the time, Mikula was looking for someone to clean her yard, and Maddow applied. They’ve remained inseparable ever since. Mikula is a photographer and artist that is well known for her works. Apart from being a news host, Maddow also has a notable acting career—she starred in the series “Batwoman” in 2021.
