Ali MacGraw – 80, Actress & Animal Rights Activist
When Ali McGraw appeared on Goodbye, Columbus, she gained attention and won a Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. She then became an international star with her role on Love Story and was even nominated for an Academy Award. But it wasn’t always like that. McGraw started working as a photographic assistant at Harper’s Bazaar magazine. She also worked as a model and a photographer’s stylist. Later, when she was already a movie star, Ali became a yoga devotee and a passionate animal rights activist. Ali and Ryan O’Neal from Love Story reunited in 2016 in the play, Love Letters.
