Gerard Butler is a Scottish actor and film producer who rose to fame playing King Leonidas in the epic war film “300.” His performance in the movie catapulted him to the top tier of Hollywood actors and earned him numerous awards. However, what many people don’t know is that he was on a path to becoming an attorney before he ever set foot on a movie set.
Butler attended the University of Glasgow School of Law and trained as a lawyer for two years at a law firm in Scotland. Despite his legal training, he eventually decided that a career in law was not for him.
