George Miller – Medicine – University of South Wales
George Miller is a director who has left an indelible mark on the film industry with his versatility. Over the years, he has directed movies of every genre imaginable, from the light-hearted “Happy Feet” to the intense “Mad Max” series, for which he is best known.
It may come as a surprise to learn that Miller didn’t study film production. In fact, he was pursuing a degree in medicine at the University of South Wales when he discovered his passion for filmmaking. It was while skipping class to watch “MAS*H” that he was struck with the inspiration to create his own films, and the rest is history.
