Hugh Laurie – Social Anthropology – Selwyn College
Hugh Laurie is a versatile actor, writer, and musician who rose to fame in the ’80s and ’90s as part of the Fry and Laurie comedy double act, appearing in popular projects such as “Jeeves and Wooster.” However, it was his role as Dr. Gregory House in the medical drama series “House” that truly cemented his place in Hollywood.
Despite his talent for the arts, Laurie’s educational background is quite surprising, as he pursued archaeology and anthropology with a major in social anthropology at Selwyn College. Nevertheless, his success in the entertainment industry speaks for itself, and he remains one of the most beloved figures in film and television.
