Ken Jeong – Medicine – University of North Carolina
Ken Jeong is a multi-talented individual who has made his mark in the entertainment industry. His portrayal of Leslie Chow in “The Hangover” franchise cemented his position as a comedian, writer, producer, and actor. Interestingly, Jeong’s early aspirations were to become a doctor, and he pursued medicine at Duke University and later obtained his Doctor of Medicine from UNC School of Medicine.
Despite his medical training, Jeong discovered his passion for acting and comedy and began juggling both careers to make ends meet. He gained recognition after appearing in the hit film “Knocked Up,” which helped him transition to a full-time career in showbiz.
