Amanda Seeks Help from the Pastor
Amanda returned to the pastor and began explaining the last few weeks’ events. The pastor is kind and understanding and actually feels sorry for Amanda. He tells her that she is clearly in love with Marcelo. Amanda already knew this. She was deeply hurt after she went to the office and found out that Marcelo had begun dating Karen.
She did not understand this sudden move from Marcelo. However, looking back at what she had done, she blamed herself for how things turned out. If she hadn’t lied and hidden her true self, maybe he would have eventually fallen in love with the real her.
