A Play Date
Amanda couldn’t risk her boss getting suspicious about her background, so she decided to arrange with the pastor for a playdate with two children that were under his care. The pastor had two young boys he arranged with Amanda to pick up on her way home from work.
The following day, Amanda decided to go with the boys to work so that Karen could stop being suspicious of her. While she was at work, she noticed that Marcelo was interested in the boys, and he was playing with them, especially the younger ones. He obviously loved kids, despite what he had said earlier about not wanting children.
