MABEL VELLOSO – NOT INFORMED
Mabel Veloso is a Bahian educator, writer, composer and cordelist born in Santo Amaro, Bahia. Daughter of José Veloso and Claudionor Viana Teles Veloso, she is the mother of singer Belô Velloso, sister of singer Maria Bethânia and Caetano Veloso. Mabel also composes and many of her songs have already been recorded by her daughter, Belô, and by her sister, Maria Bethania. In 2004 she recorded, with Maria Bethânia, the CD “Brincar de Rezar” with the Meninas Cantoras de Petrópolis.
