Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is a Brazilian politician, affiliated with the Workers’ Party, of which he is the main founder. He was the 35th president of Brazil, having held office from January 1, 2003 to January 1, 2011. From humble origins, he migrated as a child from Pernambuco to São Paulo with his family. He was a metallurgist and trade unionist. Lula was one of the main leaders of Diretas Já, in the period of redemocratization.
Lula remained active in the political scenario and began to give lectures in Brazil and abroad, charging fortunes for them. It is estimated that the pre-candidate has a questionable equity of 10 million reais.
