Bebeto is a former soccer player who played as a forward. He also worked as a coach, and is currently a politician. He was world champion for Brazil in the 1994 World Cup. One of his trademarks was the voleio goal. He managed to be an idol in rivals Flamengo and Vasco da Gama. He was also an idol at Deportivo La Coruña.Bebeto lives in a gated community in Barra da Tijuca.
