Alligator For Lunch

There are quite a lot of things to note in this picture, but let’s get one thing straight. We have absolutely no idea whether it’s the woman or the alligator that is in danger. Alligators are not naturally aggressive and rarely attack without provocation. In fact, someone once rescued an alligator and became friends with the reptile.

This woman’s mouth seems to be wide open out of fear, which is understandable, considering alligators are meat eaters. But what’s to say she wasn’t planning to munch on the cute reptile spotting a pearly neckpiece? Despite not being too common, some people keep alligators as pets, so there may be no danger here.
