A Friendly Face
Six-year-old Mason Lee lived in the town with his mother. Donna had often seen them at the cemetery during her weekly visits to TJ’s grave. However, Donna couldn’t recall if she had ever bumped into them around town before.
She still concluded that they must be from around town to maintain the weekly appointments to the cemetery. TJ’s grave rested alongside thousands of other war veterans who had been interred at the grounds since 1867. The next memorial day was held on May 27, 2013. His name was included in the proud roll call readout of servicemen who gave the ultimate sacrifice to their country.
