A Heartwarming Military Service
The burial gave TJ’s family and the community of Wilmington not only to give him a proper send-off but also to celebrate his life. Donna told a local news station that it was a heartwarming military service, and they were touched to have the entire community attend it.
TJ’s internment happened on the 12th of October 2012, and hundreds of mourners turned up, coloring the streets of Wilmington in red, white, and blue. The service started with a procession, with a horse-drawn carriage transporting TJ’s casket through the streets of the town.
