He may have changed clubs after many years, but Lionel Messi is still a one-woman man. It was a calamitous summer of 2021 for the Argentine, who had initially worked out a deal to stay at his boyhood club Barcelona, but after that couldn’t be fulfilled, he moved to French side Paris Saint Germain instead.

Of course, their bond is stronger than the one he had with the Spanish club. They’ve known one another since the age of five and dated for nearly a decade. They eventually married in 2017, with two of their three kids already born by the time they did that.
