Gareth Southgate & Alison Southgate

These days Gareth Southgate is the stylish, suit-wearing manager of the England national soccer team. During his playing days, he was a classy, ball-playing center-back who could play in midfield. This means he still has the same traits he did when his wife Alison married in 1997.

He was playing for Aston Villa at the time, part of the rampant teams of the mid to late ’90s who won the Leauge cup, flew high in the league, and also made the FA Cup Final. Together he and Alison have two children and live in a country house in North Yorkshire. In 2021 he guided England to the Euro 2020 final.
