David James & Amanda Salmon

David James is either one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League’s history or one of the worst. He has been described as both and has been a talisman for his team’s success and the scapegoat for their failures. At one point, he was even dubbed calamity James due to an error-ridden period in his career.

He was married to Tanya James, with whom he had four children before they split in 2005. He then rekindled a romance with childhood sweetheart Amanda Salmon, and the couple has been together since 2007. In 2021 James hosted a radio show called “Football Scores with David James.”
