Rio Ferdinand & Kate Ferdinand

When retired Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand lost his first wife, Rebecca Ellison, in 2015, He was distraught. They married in 2009 and had three children before her death. But he dealt with his grief and, after taking some time out to be with his kids, found love again with Kate Wright.

Wright was a cast member of the reality show “The Only Way Is Essex,” and she and Ferdinand got hitched in 2019. They had their first child together in 2020, taking Ferdinand’s tally up to four. In 2021 Ferdinand returned as an expert analyst for “BT Sport.”
