Who hasn’t heard of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show?” The show has been on air since 2003, and the host, Ellen DeGeneres’ identity as a gay woman, is no secret and never was. However, her girlfriend Portia de Rossi, who is best known for starring on the show “Arrested Development,” did struggle with her own identity.

They’ve been making headlines since 2004, but it wasn’t until 2005 that de Rossi came out. They tied the knot in 2008 and live together in Beverly Hills with their pets. While de Rossi has quit the world of entertainment, Ellen DeGeneres returns in 2021 for a final season of the show.
