Antarctica is known for many reasons, mainly through its famous as the massive ice land humans can’t survive on. However, recent discoveries have shown that before the continent broke off from the Gondwana supercontinent, an event that left it almost lifeless was bursting with human life and lush vegetation.
Scientists have found numerous artifacts like those discovered in Yellowstone Park which date back to the Permian period, over 280 million years ago, showing that the frosted chunk of land can preserve items from prehistoric times, which can help us learn more about our beloved planet.
