Gigantic Spiders
Spiders are, in general, very creepy insects. So the thought behind gigantic spiders roaming about freely is enough to send chills down our spine. But guess what, researchers have already found monster spiders on the coast of Antarctica.
The science behind why these spiders are so perceptibly giant compared to regular spiders is the phenomenon called Polar Gigantism. With legs as long as 1 to 1.5 feet used for breathing, these enormous arachnids can move a lot faster, and they usually prey on smaller insects and fishes found on the coast.
